What is the ACT Exam?
The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized exam used for college and university admissions across the United States. It is conducted by the ACT Organization and scores range from 1 to 36. In 2025–2026, the ACT format has been updated — the test is now shorter, smarter, and more student-friendly.
The ACT consists of 3 compulsory sections — English, Mathematics, and Reading — and 2 optional sections — Science and Writing. All compulsory sections and the Science section contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The ACT Writing section is an optional essay test. You are given a complex issue and three different perspectives on it. Your task is to write a well-organized essay that analyzes the perspectives, develops your own viewpoint, and explains its relationship to the given perspectives.
